Latest Highlights

Coming to America 8:00 pm  ET

Eight years before "The Nutty Professor," Eddie Murphy flexed his multitasking muscles in this 1988 romantic comedy. He and co-star Arsenio Hall have three roles each in addition to their main ones: an African prince and his pal visiting New York to find a suitable bride for His Highness. Shari Headley plays the lady he favors, whom he meets in -- where else? -- Queens. Don't miss the brief shout-out to another Murphy hit, "Trading Places."

Deal or No Deal 8:00 pm  ET

Shave and a haircut -- two mil? In this new episode, a barber from Ohio plays a high-stakes game, hoping to win enough so that his wife can quit her two jobs. Not only is there a case on the board worth $2 million, but basketball star Kobe Bryant stops by to make him an offer that might be hard to resist. Howie Mandel hosts.

Larry the Cable Guy's Star Studded Christmas Extravaganza 9:00 pm  ET

What do you mean, you haven't finished your Christmas shopping? Git-r-done! Just kidding. But Larry's annual special might give you an early start on getting into the holiday spirit. Guests include sportscaster Terry Bradshaw and fellow comedians Lewis Black and Jeff Foxworthy, with music from Montgomery Gentry, Rodney Atkins and Emily West.

Ghost Whisperer 8:00 pm  ET

This episode may have some useful information for those with family members suffering memory loss. As Melinda (Jennifer Love Hewitt) continues to deal with her personal loss, she tries to help a man with amnesia regain his memory so he can cross over. Apparently entering the pearly gates gets complicated if you don't remember who you are. We assume that means more paperwork for St. Peter.

Love Actually 8:00 pm  ET

Stars, unite! The charm that writer-director Richard Curtis gave "Four Weddings and a Funeral" and "Notting Hill" also infuses this 2003 comedy, boasting a great ensemble cast. Frequent Curtis collaborator Hugh Grant plays England's prime minister, who falls for an employee (Martine McCutcheon). Other criss-crossing subplots involve Emma Thompson, Liam Neeson, Laura Linney, Colin Firth, Keira Knightley and the hilarious Bill Nighy.

Christmas With the Kranks 9:00 pm  ET

It seems that every year, some lame film about Christmas decorating crops up like a bad foot fungus. Occasionally, a decent one such as National Lampoon's "Christmas Vacation" with its attack squirrel will appear like a vision of the Virgin Mary on your shower doors. But this is not such a miracle. This is pain. Mental pain that grabs you like the Jaws of Life and refuses to let go, sucking you into a vortex of red and green doom.

Crusoe 9:00 pm  ET

Don't worry; it'll just be used for medicinal purposes. Crusoe (Philip Winchester) gets a rude awakening when Friday (Tongayi Chirisa) tries to attack him inside the treehouse. When Crusoe realizes that Friday is gravely ill and has gone insane, he rushes to find Olivia (Mia Maestro) to see if there is a cure. They search the island for a rare plant to cure him in "Bad Blood."

Stargate Atlantis 9:00 pm  ET

Dr. McKay (David Hewlett) accepts an invitation to attend a demonstration of a device touted as the solution to global warming. Once there, he's shocked by the brazen claims that the instrument that can cool the earth by venting excess heat from our space and time into another -- an idea he pursued two years earlier. But when the device is engaged and doesn't stop after achieving desired temperature, McKay must work fast before everyone freezes to death. Brrrr.

Three Days 9:00 pm  ET

Holy buzzkill, Batman! There's nothing wrong with a heartwarming holiday movie, but this 2001 tear-jerker barrels right past heartwarming into depressing, and not even an angel can save it. Here's the setup: Man (Reed Diamond) with out-of-whack priorities loses his wife (Kristin Davis) -- as in, she dies -- just before Christmas. He gets a chance to live the past three days over, but he's warned she'll still die no matter what he does differently. Do you really want to start your weekend off with a crying jag? Didn't think so.

NBA Basketball 9:30 pm  ET

The Oklahoma City Thunder may not win many more games than last year's 20, but they'll still feel right at home. After 41 seasons in Seattle, the franchise was welcomed with open arms in Oklahoma after a summer move, and its new fans know good times are ahead. Among its young assets is Kevin Durant, who as a teenager averaged more than 20 points in his rookie season. Tonight, the Thunder face another top star when Chris Paul and the New Orleans Hornets visit.

Sanctuary 10:00 pm  ET

Edward (Michael Eisner) is a teenage savant with the remarkable ability to draw photorealistic images summoned from memory at amazing speed -- without the need to even glance at the page. When Edward's father is found dead in their home, the explanation is suicide. But when Will and Magnus (Robin Dunne, Amanda Tapping) investigate the scene, Will is convinced there's much more to this story. He believes Edward's drawings will expose the truth.
